Melanie (who has a new website – yah! link to follow very soon.) and I are heading down to London to visit with family for a few days. While we’re there, we’re going to take in King Lear at Stratford. Haven’t been there in years, so it should be a fun time.
See you when I get back. In the meantime this should keep you busy.
I have no idea what that was all about (perhaps I should take time to read the rules), but it was fun. Nice music, and cute little people running around making something lovely. Enjoy Stratford!!
Oh no, not another one of those annoying, addictive games with the kooky music!! I love it!
Hope you and Melanie have a great time, and enjoy the play. Lear is one of my favourite Shakespeare plays, right up there with my other fave, Richard III. I do so love those heart-breaking tragedies.
Ha! I knew you guys would love that game – if you can call it that. It’s more like a surreal sandbox of fun. And speaking of sandboxes of fun, Lear was . . . okay not much fun, but it was definitely bloody and gripping. It was a great performance, minimal sets and staging that allowed the audience and the actors to focus on the meat of the play. There’s nothing like seeing Shakespeare in Stratford, it’s the real deal.
Gotta dash now and get back to my family – thankfully there’s no plotting or betrayal going on, but we’ll see what happens the BBQ is fired up and those steaks come out. Then, all bets are off.
