Tonight, Ill be on the road again, but this time my journey wont be too far. The good folks at a local school, Holy Family Catholic School, have invited me to their Literacy Night festivities, and Im really looking forward to it.
This time, itll be a bit different. Im not reading from my Pet Tales books and there wont be another performance of the Max Finder Mystery Theatre. The students of Holy Family have created literacy projects and tonight is their night to show them off to their families and friends. Before the festivities kick off, Im giving a brief talk on literacy and Im very excited.
And as a bonus, since the school is so close, I wont even have to drive to get there. Yah!
