It seems like bloggers go to a lot of conferences. And when they return they always explain how hectic it was or how many people they met/spoke to/missed, etc. BookExpo Canada was no different, but hopefully my posts about it will be. I didn’t meet any fellow bloggers and I won’t go into a long list of the recognizable names of people I met/saw speak (okay – I will tell you that I saw David Suzuki speak and he was great – can we convince this guy to run for Prime Minister of Canada and President of the US?)
Over the next few days, I plan to post about the writing sessions I sat in on – how to land an agent, getting your manuscript to the right publisher and how to market yourself as a writer – all very interesting and each worth a post.
In the meantime, I’m behind on the writing that keeps me fed and hooked up with highspeed, so this blog may be silent until the end of the week (I’ve also got to go out of town to a house with . . . are you ready . . . no computer!)
So, get your syndication in order (I recommend the atom feed, if you can/will use it or bloglines if you can’t/won’t) and watch out for my return in your feedbox.
See you later . . .
