If it has gone silent around here, you know that means I am busy writing. But it has also gone silent on my main page and that is because Blogger has thrown me into its dungeon once again. Ugh. Not sure what button I pushed to break the Blogger blog running the main page, but thankfully WordPress is working well.
So, until I escape the dark depths of Blogger imprisonment, here is what has been happening:
I’ve started work on the second book in my new graphic novel series for Orca Book Publishers, Graphic Guide Adventures. The manuscript for the first book, Wild Ride, is with illustrator Michael Deas and is coming along nicely. It’s due out Fall 2007.
I’ve also just finished going over the proofs for Max Finder Mystery Collected Casebook Volume 2, which is looking really good. It’s due out for Spring 2007 and will have ten more Max & Alison mysteries and a whole heap of new puzzles.
In the meantime, Owl Magazine is running a Max Finder Mystery contest this month. Pick up a copy of Owl and have the chance to win 1 of 25 copies of Max Finder Mystery Collected Casebook Vol. 1.
Now, if you’ll excuse me I have a Blogger engine to dismantle. With my luck, I’ll end up with a few spare parts by the time I’m done.

Wow! Productive as usual, I see–good on ya! Blogger has been pretty iffy lately. I don’t know if the bumps are because of their new version, or not, but timing seems to say yes. What do you think about having to register with Google in order to use the new version? I haven’t registered…such a rebel I am. Maybe it’s time to switch services.
Yes, busy is always good! As for Blogger, I just don’t know what’s up. It could be on their end or on my server. I guess the signing up with google is to combine all their products, but still a pain in the butt. You should look into switching over to http://wordpress.com – it’s set up exactly like blogger and just as easy to use.
