Signing Wild Ride at OLA Super Conference

Wild RideThis year’s Ontario Library Association (OLA) Super Conference is happening here in Toronto from January 30th to February 2nd and for the second year running, I have the honour of attending.

On Friday February 1st at 2pm, I’ll be at the Orca booth, signing copies of Wild Ride, my new graphic novel and first in the Graphic Guide Adventure series.

The OLA Super Conference is always a great event because it’s attended by some of children’s authors biggest supporters: librarians!

They’re the ones who find our books and put them into the hands of young readers, hopefully making them fans of not only our work, but of reading in general. I can’t think of a more important job than that. So, thank you librarians and keep up the great work!

New year, new reviews

Happy New Year!

2007 was a great year that included some great reviews about Wild Ride, the first book in the Graphic Guide Adventures series. Want to read them for yourself? Well, you can. Just head over to our newly created Press page and you’ll see what magazines like Quill and Quire, Booklist and Canadian Materials are saying about Wild Ride.
