		<description>Hey - I resent the aspertions about me abandoning blogging for Facebook. I abandoned blogging for work; I now regularly abandon work for Facebook.

Anyway, yes I agree about the educational value of video games. I have been a player of Civilization for more than 15 years and it serves to teach many historical lessons - especially how science develops and how resources lead to war. (For example, how easy it is to get tempted into launching a war against a far off civilisation, just to get your hands on one unrenewable oil field...)</description>
