From chapter books to comic strips, I write fiction and non-fiction for young readers.
My work has appeared in books,
magazines
and on
television screens
across North America and Europe.
This page features my latest writing news. You can read what I have to say about other stuff in my weblog,
feeding change.
I just finished a new graphic novel script for Rubicon Publishing about ancient Celts. Right now, it's called The Battle of Deal Beach, but that might change. Rubicon is an educational publisher and they publish fast, so the book will be out in January 2006. Which is cool.
Also for the educational market is a new series of books for younger readers that I'm working on for Capstone Press. It's all still hush, hush, but I'm excited about it and will let you know more when it's all in the bag.
AND . . . I've been contacted by Stone Arch Press, a new kids publisher, about doing some stuff for them. That starts next week and will keep me writing away until mid November.
Added to all that is one more super secret project that I'm really excited about but refuse to talk about until it's all signed away. You'll have to wait for that one.
Also, the latest Max Finder Mystery is in stores (in the pages of OWL Magazine, of course.) It's a spooky Halloween adventure that has our detective duo searching for ghosts in The Case of the Haunted Haunted House. Pick it up at a bookstore near you! Or read a Max Finder Mystery today, to see what all the fuss is about.
I'll also soon be posting images from my Franklin's Garden reading, which happened at the end of August. So stay tuned!
